start of term 3... well actually that ws 3 days ago, been rather busy with hw (incl the incomplete hol hw) and projs. anyways teachers this term quite okay. and everything seems to be due on fri! eng hol hw, chinese proj... workout! urgh, workout! totally horrible... we tried getting disqualified yesterday since we only had 8 ppl. but no, they didnt even hav enough grps competiting so we couldnt be kicked out! ahhhhhh... nightmare man. dreading fri...

camp! well actually this yr's camp was not as fun as last yr's. this yr's theme was super heors and our grp was called purpish! haha, comprised of sheryl, xinyuan(!), pearleen, mamitha, qiwei, shuyi and huiying.

it seemed as though we did so much more on the first day (pitching tent, building gadgets) that it was boring but there was nite hike though! the part where we had to walk alone wasnt so creepy as i thought it would be. although my candle blew out like 5 seconds after i started walking! but it wasnt that dark and i caught up with xinyuan to relight my candle and walked with her. def not as scary as p6 camp's night hike!

second day's activities was okay, quite fun. rafting, srit, total defence 'course' and orienting. last yr's kayaking was much better than rafting though. coz we had to build the stupid raft and spent so little time in the water.

the sky was so dark on the third day. it looked as though it would rain any min. no one was willing to come back another day to strike camp so when we finally got the permission to stike, everyone was like so fast! in less than 5 mins time most of the tents were already down 9except ours)! but we had a problem with the no. of pegs.

oh and i got so much less sleep than last yr's camp! ard 2,3 hrs a nite and we were sleeping on sloping grd so i kept sliding down. xinyuan barely slept on the first nite and everytime i woke up to push myself up to prevent hitting pearleen, i would see her sitting there! but she still had quite a lot of energy for the second day's activities! haha, at least she was in my grp! =)

anyway today went out to sort of celebrate deb's bday. bought the cake and went to annabel's house for a while before heading to orchard to watch harrypotter since the rest had not watched it yet. i usually think its stupid to watch a movie twice unless its really great but still... what was i to do while they watched it? so i joined them. we took neoprints too and went longjohn silver after that. tmr going to annabel's house again, but this time for chinese proj. *sighs* ive still got loads of hw to do!

i just found out that one of my friends (im not sure if i can allowed to say who exactly) got into the nus high programme. like whoa, i didnt think that they'll find out so soon. she's def not going to be the only one since practically half the class applied for either the nus high or nj programme or both. i dun know, there's this feeling i cant describe. i guess its probably because some of my closer friends wont/might not be in crescent next yr. oh well...

that becky... made me change my display name and pic so many times! *shakes head* anwyay, i gotta finish the big pile of hw and projects by this wk coz there's no free time on the last wk! yikes, there's lots to do, i barely started.

loads has happened. i guess mostly its for the better. oh well, dun want to type it all down.

pre-confirmation retreat wasn't too bad, was quite fun actually. we had loads of games on the first day, like what? 6 icebreakers? that sort of stuff. some of them were actually fun, haha. then on second and third day had capt ball. had quite a few activites and talks on the second and third day too.

at the end of it all, knew more ppl and knew some of them better. its not so bad now, unlike last time. its crazy since for some reason its stc vs crez and there are like 8 stc gals and only us 2 crez gals so its quite unfair, haha. yup and learnt not to hope for a lot. even though i was slightly disappointed when i realized but then again, it could be a blessing. so yeah...

and of course i'd rather be having this every day of the entire june hols then doing hw! =)

first wk of the hols are over. all too soon. anyway recap.

mon, we had pbl meeting at my house. ended up calling bag companies and heading down to suntec for the world bk fair to look at the bags. boring fair. but we managed to look at the bags for pbl.

tue-fri. mostly slacking, barely doing hw.

yesterday, the wedding. silkie and weeney were so cute! dressed up in suit and gown. kept feeding them. they eat like so fast, way faster then me, haha. but it was really nice overall although it does seem strange... nvm.

pre-confirmation retreat next 3 days. hopefully its not too bad!
