cookie selling! haha yes, my life has been revolving around cookies for the last two and half days.

fri evening/nite.
went to cold storage to buy the ingredients to bake the cookies. initially, couldn't find the sugar! lol. anyway, started baking slightly after 8pm. managed to watch survivor in between runs to the kitchen to do my 'job' which was to roll the dough into the 'shape', place it on the tray and decorate it with chocolate chips. we only finish at midnight and were still short of the hundred cookies! slept at 1am after clearing and packing.

sat
woke up early to go for guides. carey and karen were really spilling the beans on each other. lol. anyway, after lunch at home, had to go to church to pack the cookies. was pakcing it with julia, theresa, regina and pamela. all the cookies were of different shapes and sizes so it was kind of hard to pack 'cause there was no 'standard' package like 2 of these cookies with 1 of that. had to just decide on our own which cookies to put it. after that, took a break and later, went selling cookies. i was pared up with julia. sold cookies till 6pm when we went for mass then left early to get ready to sell cookies.

sun
woke up early again to sell cookies. we had agreed to meet at 0830. i was only half-awake. after selling for the start of 9am mass, went for legion meeting. meeting was ended very early so we could go down to sell cookies for the end of 9am mass. continued selling until 1030 and went for mass for a while even though i had already atteneded yesterday. sold for end of 1030 mass and went up to count the money collected. since there were so many cookies left over and we hadn't reached our target, some of us agreed to go back to sell for 1730 mass, including me. so after a nap, went back to church. this time paired up with theresa. while waiting for the end of mass, we were eating a few packets of cookies, lol. theresa was trying to figure out which were the famous amos ones. sold more cookies and went back up to count the money again. turns out we've hit our target! collected 1106.20 altogether. =) i'm kinda glad it's over, it's been tiring.

ameera has the o.c. dvd!!! i'm totally envious. anyone who's going to usa, please get it for me!!! lol.

just when i change my board to doodle-board 'cause tag-board's always not working, tag-board swings back into action. *sighs*

anyway, posting results... xiangyi was kind enough to call me to tell me about deb, ah-ma and my posting results. i initially freaked out upon hearing my class (i have no idea why) and started calling everyone else. deb and ah-ma are in the same class. deb, you know what to do, don't you? lol. and yeah, i'm in the same class as anna, aunty, polly and 5 other people from 2c1. whoa. but that's nice. =) kinda apprehensive about the subject combination i'm taking but we'll see how it goes.
polly and i went counting the number of sec 2 ppl from 2c1-2s3 going to our class next yr and it added up to only 31 ppl! you know what that means?! *screams* so many!!! (do you understand what i'm talking about? i don't think so, lol.)
plus, i was trying to convince xiangyi to appeal to my class! she agreed and i hope she manages to transfer over!

oh on sat, theresa and joan were helping to think up of the most fitting confirmation name for me. theresa was looking through nov's issue of lime of ideas! joan thought 'anne' was the nicest to go with 'rachel' and thereas was saying that i should choose 'joan' (as in the name) instead. but up till now i'm still undecided even though i was suppose to hand in the form yesterday. shall how to go think of some more names!

and confirmation retreat is now 13-18 dec, so i can attend at least a few days! yay.

have been going out quite a lot this week, so here's the recap.

mon
went out with legion to modestos for lunch. the food there was very nice! yum. we kinda ordered a little too much but we managed to finish everything especially the dessert! after that, walked all the way down to heeren to take neoprints. wasn't that bad of a walk since we were all so full and we actually managed to fit all 10 of us into the booth to take!

tue
met deb and ah-ma at raffles city to buy annabel's birthday present. we had totally no idea what to buy for her! we went into so many shops like precious thots and cards n such where there were so many cute stuff but couldn't find the 'right' thing to buy for her. so... guess where we ended up? the supermarket! haha yeah. resorted to buying coke and her fave salt and vinegar chips as part of her present. lol.
in burger king, deb had this idea that we'd split up to buy each other christmas presents! yes, christmas presents! so deb and i went in search for presents for anna and ah-ma. we bought the nici charm bracelet for anna and this cute and totally approperiate photoframe along with a notebook for ah-ma. i still like the photoframe! it's darn cute and so like ah-ma. (go ask her what it says on it) oh and deb and i got our presents too. thanks to deb, ah-ma and anna for my christmas present! perlini silver bracelet thats very nice! thanks! even though its like , 39 days early.
after eating dinner, we went to victoria concert hall to watch crescent band. xinyuan was ushering, lol. anyway, we had a hard time spotting nicole and when we finally saw her, she was in two plaits and like anna said, she didn't look like nicole at all! but the concert was quite good. although the ppl seating behind us were kinda irritating...

went to cine to watch princess diaries with xiangyi and ah-ma. xinyuan couldn't come along. nice movie, but xiangyi didn't allow me to stay behind after the movie to listen to the songs!!! evil. lol. we found 3 of the incredibles postcards too. oh and xiangyi thought i was mad for most of the time. esp in the cd shop. lol. anyway, nothing much.

thu(today)
class gathering at east coast park. met deb and aunty (raechelle) at buona vista mrt station. aunty nearly couldn't make it for the train. in the train, we had to walk from the middle all the way to the first carriage 'cause we arranged to meet ah-ma at the first door and i got giddy after weaving in and out of the clusters of people but it was funny. later met carey and gracia and her sis at paya lebar. took a bus and walked to mcdonalds to meet the rest. did a lot of cycling. stupid bike was so darn noisy but later ah-ma did this changing thing and it didn't make so much noise after that! cycled back and forth from the bike rental shop. watching aunties (jess, mel and raechelle) and pollly riding the two-seater bikes was quite funny. they were all screaming 'cause it was hard to control the bike. oh and anna was scared of ah-ma and me 'cause we kept riding so close to her. lol. anyway, after that, went back to mcdonalds and talked and ate. quite fun overall.

whoa. this has got to be one of my longer posts. my tag-board's not working again!!! ahhhhh!!! anyway, tmr going back to school to check posting results. okay, i'm off now to watch my o.c.! episode 24, the proposal! =)

went ice-skating today with xiangyi, xinyuan, deb, aunty (raechelle)and ah-ma. =) it was very fun. finally managed to skate after going there countless times. i mean, in the past, each time i went, i would only get the hang of it in the second hour. but today wasn't the case! =) and we were screaming. lol. should have seen us. it was darn funny. esp the time when xinyuan and i were on both sides of ah-ma and we were pulling her. ah-ma was falling and the two of us were screaming. lol. sorry ah-ma! and deb sure learns fast! she learnt it barely 20 minutes after we started and it was her first time! haha yeah. so next wed yeah? *nods* (that includes you, ah-ma! lol.)

the house is in a total mess. they're doing something to the ceiling in all other rooms and mine is the only one not affected. so all the stuff is dumped into my room and yeah, i'm surrounded by tons of stuff.

i'm going on a planning strike and yunsan doesn't believe me. but i don't care, i'm going to. for once, i'm not going to be the one planning every single thing that you guys make me plan. well, for the exception of the 2c1 bbq ( i hope it's still on?). that's different 'cause it's joint planning done by at least a few ppl. so yeah, don't ask me to plan anymore activites or anything. i'm sick of doing all the work.

feeling very grumpy and grouchy. i know, it's very childlish of me but whatever, i'm not in the mood to do anything now. don't ask why though, if i were to give you the reason, i'll just be insulting a lot of ppl. all i can say is: stop trying to impose your opinions on me.

some kind of hol this is. but i guess that's the way it is and i gotta get use to it. everything clashes. okay, maybe not everything, but there's bound to be activites clashing. like tomorrow, and that i won't be able to attend confirmation retreat 'cause of the hol. i thought it was the safest time (next to christmas) for a hol but unfortunately, i'm wrong. if i went away during the christmas period i would miss out on the orientation thing. so there'll never be a 'safe' period of time to go away for a hol and that i'll be missing out on some kind of activity or another. *sighs* don't even get me started on my dec schedule. it's a mess.

to aunty : can you please do the planning for the 6a class thing instead?

i'm off to continue writing the chapter even though i've got lots of other stuff to do. doesn't really make sense does it? but nevermind.
