anyways, on wed went out with aunty and xinyuan. we went to watch without a paddle and i was shopping for mum and dad's christmas presents while aunty wanted to buy something for mel. oh and we saw this meet the fockers family portrait thing in cine so xinyuan and i convinced aunty to go be part of it so that xinyuan could take a photo. the security guard and this guy walking past thought we were crazy, lol. anyway, later, while we were in the body shop, aunty and xinyuan helped me find the present. thanks! and when aunty opened this shimmer cube, the glitter kind of floated out! so the ground was all sparkly after that, lol. walked back to cine since aunty couldn't find the 'right' gift for mel in perlini silver. aunty bought mel's present in bits and pieces, don't think i should say what it is. later, aunty and i went to borders to just look around. even though they were having 15% off, we didn't buy anything 'cause we were too broke! lol.
thu, went back to sch for sec 1 registration. didn't have anything to do initially so was standing in the corridor with ameera and deb doing greeting. ameera was darn funny, she was looking at other people's bags and shoes and commenting on them. ameera and me also ended up talking about o.c, lol. later, when to help at the uniform selling with xiangyi and sri. we were asked all kinds of questions including 'which is the most popular cca?' to which xiangyi replied, 'uh, we can't really comment on that'. haha! lots of people also asked where was the sec 1 'C' classes (like C1, C2 and C3) and the g.o. ended pretty early but we were all tired after that, so we just went home. oh and yunsan and i gave each other the christmas presents! haha, the present she gave me was really nice, thanks!

theresa and joan have been totally mental throughout the entire retreat and i just realized this morning that their daily nescafe could be half the cause of it! lol. joan keeps calling me and herself 'cow' and she's been 'moo-ing' quite a bit. lol. i think esther and i have endured tons of their craziness.
but really, it's been a while since theresa joined and after that day, everything's changed! well, for me at least. before that, i hated going to cat class 'cause i didn't have any friends there, practically all the girls were from kellock/stc. but now, i have a great group of friends from cat class - theresa, joan and esther. theresa's also the reason why our class is a whole lot noiser now (although in a good way, lol). so, theresa , if you're reading this, thanks for bringing all the wonderful changes to our cat class!

the flight there was totally horrible. 10 long stupid hours. i think i can't stand night flights. anyways, finally landed and it was 12 degrees there. it was so darn cold in the first few days 'cause i wasn't used to it but after that it was okay. did quite a bit of shopping but since the stuff there is quite ex, didn't buy much. we drove around quite a bit and half the time i was asleep in the car 'cause there wasn't anything else to do! yeah so we went to twizel where we found out it had been snowing two days earlier! nothing much actually. went to queenstown and we pretty much covered the entire town during the two and a half days we were there. saw annabel on the second day! anyway, went for the shotover jet which is pretty cool just that my face was so cold! but it was really fun. then we went for the helicopter ride and tried the luge. it would have been lots of fun if not for my contacts! the vision in my left eye was blur and no amount of my eye drops would clear it. hmph. finally cleared during dinner but not before i had taken out my contacts and slept for a while. saw tingxi at the restaurant but she didn't recongize me! yeah, nothing much really. sunglasses are sold everywhere and there's tons of jewellery shops. there even sell necklaces and earrings at petrol kiosks! lol yeah, petrol kiosks and pharmacies there are fun to shop in too!
that sums it up i think. i know it's short. anyways, O.C FINALE IS TONIGHT! and my stupid vcr is not working! *screams* i can't tape tonight's finale or watch episode 26! urgh. oh well. can't do anything about it. okay, off to check email!

day 1.
uh i can't really remember much. okay, so we played a few games and we (sec 2 cat class gals - theresa, joan, anne and me) were kind of quiet at first. i guess we hadn't 'warmed' up yet. anyway, was in the 'cana' share group! haha yeah, with cornell, (the other) rachel, bryan and randall. listened to quite a number of sharings and sang songs too.
day 2.
at first, most of us (once again, cat class gals) were barely awake. after all, we had to arrive at church at 0745. we had more sharings and this pull-a-question-out-of-the-cup thing that was really cool. i partnered prescila and we asked each other questions that we drew from the cup. it was quite interesting. one of the share group activites was to draw a parable from the bible so our group chose 'the lost sheep'and in the last few minutes, we were all frantic 'cause we had to draw nine sheep and there were only like, 4? yeah, so we were like, hurry! draw the sheep! lol. later at night, we had reconiliation night in church. the team members had decorated the church really nicely with lighted candles and flower petals... at the later part of recon night, we went for confession. then we had to nail our letter to god on this wooden cross and light our candle. it was really nice. ended at around 11pm and went home.
day 3 (today!)
started out the day unlike day 2 'cause theresa and joan were already quite hyper and crazy. they thought of confirmation names for me and they agreed on addidas! but finally i settled on 'joan' (as in the name). so it's really confusing now since there's joan teresa, theresa herself and me - rachel joan. lol. we had more sharings and songs, played games like dog and bone and captains ball. after lunch, we was suppose to act out a given passage in the bible. ours was daniel in the lion pit. we had a gay angel. lol. later, when all the groups acted, it was darn funny with the guys acting gay 'cause they were playing a girl/woman role. before the whole thing wrapped up, they gave each of the participants an antioch cross and we got peace hugs from everyone. each of us also had several letters from the team. =) then to end everything off, we went for sunset mass.
i think anne, joan and theresa (ther-sa, lol.) are most probably joining antioch. i don't know whether i should. i mean, i'm already in legion and i don't know if i can cope with my subjects and 2 church activites. if i had known earlier, maybe i would have taken doubles so i could maybe go for both. *sighs* mum's against me joining antioch which is weird. most of the time, it's the parent that wants the child to be more active in church. for me, my mum doesn't want me to be over-active. weird... but nevermind. i guess i'll give it some thought. and the songs are kinda stuck in my head now. lol. =)
anyway, i'll be going off tomorrow night so i probably won't update until i get back. unless i have the chance to update on the 10th. okay, i've gotta go. loads to catch up on (as in email, ff, magazines) and haven't packed yet!
