today! went to east coast park with deb and ah-ma. why? to teach deb h0w to cycle for her pulau ubin trip! haha yeah. i think she got the hang of it eventually. especially when she used the bigger bike. so... yays! haha. i wouldn't be surprised if deb's sick of cycling. she nearly cycled for 4 hrs today.

i've just read nicole's blog and there was this long post on all the ppl she thanked. and mine was:

anyways, there's no sch tmr. yays. i get to watch the first telecast of ami results! =)

first day
met with our group and i was thinking that i was in the wrong group 'cause there was no one from the same class as me! but at least i knew ashikin, rowena and amy. anyways, we learnt to pitch tents in this mosquito infested area and we did kayaking! =) haha yeah. we had capsize drill as well. and we cooked dinner on the beach!
second day
we learnt bilaying and played a few games since it rained. haha "it's just a game". =) shackleton's quote. oh and we went for night walk! we were suppose to walk alone in the forest. haha, very like guides.
third day
we started looking for the clues for our sea expedition. the hike to look for the clues was from camp 2 to camp 1. oh man i practically died. the backpack was so darn heavy and the tent too! anyways, we didn't manage to find one of the clues but our instructor gave it to us in the end. =) haha then we finally had a proper lunch and we did the inverse tower challenge. haha i did the zzlog one with liling and i kept slipping off! but it was kinda fun.
fourth day
kayaking expedition! it started around 0730 and we kayaked for 8 hours around pulau ubin. it was quite fun actually except for the last hour or so when my energy was at an all time low. the waves were nice! haha yeah.
fifth day
nothing much. just did the odds and ends.
obs was kinda fun. but i can't deny that i had wanted so badly to be in camp christine on the first day instead. haha, it was kinda irritating to pitch and unpitch the tents everyday as well but i got the hang of it, eventually.
tue's doomday. i'm totally dead.

we remember
all the times we had together
overall the farewell went okay, except for some "technical faults". we started late but we managed to keep to the tight schedule =) the souvenirs looked nice after the last min touch ups! (and since xiangyi, deb and me are horrible at estimating, we have lots of beads left over. even after dropping them just about everywhere, haha)
and so, with that short span of two hours, the sec 4s have stepped down. :( we'll definitely miss them! after spending all those years together...
it doesn't matter that we spend a lot of time in guides. so long as we all enjoy it and looking back, we'll have tons of memories and friendships. =)
