we celebrated my belated birthday by having lunch at seoul garden after the english papers. anna was in such a hyper mood and she was all too eager to get the food. ah-ma was the expert knowing how to do everything. i drove debbie crazy before that by naming all the shops we passed by and that we ought to go in and shop ("oh look! topshop, let's go in!") but my nice sister was pretty patient with me. i guess she'd rather me be in my crazy shopping mode than grouchy mood. haha. anyway thanks to my dearest younger sister for constantly reassuring me whenever i'm down! =) love you! (deb, please don't puke!)

yesterday [ 13 april]
it was our last guide meeting. ): which was really sad. 12 of us went for dinner after that at plaza sing.
after 4 years in guides, looking back, time does really fly and it doesn't seem like 4 years at all! as delia said over dinner, "it seems like it's just yesterday that we took over" which is really true. i'll really really miss guides. what would school be without guides? it'll be just so mundane and boring! i don't wanna step down but i guess we have to. it's time to move on and really focus on our studies.
i really treasure the times we spent in guides together. those special and crazy moments. the friendships forged. the special people i've met. i love you all!
funfair [ 8 april]
i had duty at class ice-cream stall which was initially just to collect and punch the coupons. but, after they left to watch the teachers performance, i had to scoop the icecream and prepare the floats and all which turned out quite messy. haha.
duty at class game stall was quite okay. emily taught me how to operate the dance machine thing but somehow, it didn't work smoothly at times. and believe it or not, that's the first time i've actually seen and learnt how people do "para para". haha.
duty at guides balloon stall was the most fun! haha blew up the pretty balloons. the foil one was in so much demand and selling like hotcakes! which was quite surprising to me 'cause i honestly thought not many people would buy the balloons. well, i was proven wrong. haha. debbie's 10 + delia's 5 and my "2 0r more" ended up in 19. so xiangyi had to walk home with 19 balloons. which isn't really my fault, it was kinda her fault for starting the "buy rachel a balloon". haha. and that someone didn't want to listen to me and buy the foil one immediately. it's such a joke seeing xiangyi walk with the 19 balloons. everyone wanted one! =)
oh yeah, nat, dom and errol came. nat and i bought similar earrings. thanks delia, for getting me a pair!

oh yeah today's april fool's day. i'm nice enough not to prank anyone. however, i'm too gullible to fall for two pranks pulled on me, courtesy of nat and dom. evil people. haha. i'm just kidding.
i'm so gonna die. i've got so much homework and revision that i'm supposed to be doing. ): i'm gonna stay up tonight to try to complete some.
