whoa, more than three months since the last update. tag-board's pretty dead too, i assume the lack of updates contributed to it? the Os and my laziness are probably the two main factors attributing to the lack of posts. well, i've been suddenly inspired and for once, not so lazy so here i am posting a reflection of the past week activites

prom - 24th nov
actually nothing really much to reflect here. prom was pretty okay and the food wasn't too bad. we wasted quite an amount of food though. i think the preparation for prom was more exciting than the prom itself but that's what i personally feel. maybe i'll upload the pictures some other time. and it was quite interesting to see everyone dressed up and there were quite a few surprises like jeanette! ah-ma and delia looked nice too. no badgering needed to get them into a dress =) debbie, however, simply refused to listen to anna, xiangyi and me. at least she wore a skirt though!

malaysia trip - 27th to 29th nov
the realization that my cousins are growing up! haha, but seriously. they are growing up, experiencing all the teenage angst and the emotional rollercoaster ride. no longer that, ahem, childish? haha. i mean it's no longer running around, screaming, doing the train thing. something i couldn't relate to once i was about sec 2. and they couldn't really comprehend that i was no longer interested in that sort of thing. so now that most of them have grown up, it's good cause i don't feel so awkward. it's been a long time since i spent time with them so the trip was good. the resort had good food, buffet for every meal! i think i ate too much there.. we did kayaking and the three older ones attempted to drive the all-terrain vehicle. overall, quite fun trip to bond with my cousins. =)

legion camp/gathering - 30th nov
to be honest, i didn't really grow spiritually at this camp. i kinda zoned out during the prayer talk 'cause i was pretty tired by then. but the gathering was pretty much a success although i was afraid when we started out shakily. more bonding amongst legion members and it's not everyday that such an opportunity comes about. so i'm thankful for that. =)

okay this post is done, another one (about crescent) will be coming up soon (hopefully i won't be that lazy and update before i leave for japan!)
